Fan in Snap In ? How to check if it is working ?
I am using BMW Snap In (media, part # 84212218390 02) since August 2011. It worked fine. Recently I noticed that sometimes iPhone 4S is not getting charged and shows the iPhone 4S as fully charged and gets really hot. Today weather is really hot in Jax (92F). I was driving top down and I got message 'iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it'. iPhone 4S is supposed to work unto 95F. But the weather outside and heat from being in the snap in might have crossed 95F. I read somewhere that the snap in has a small fan inside. Is it true ? How to check if the fan is working ?
