Sat Nav

Has anyone had their Professional Sat Nav updated on their hard drive and how much did it cost? Can it be done by oneself or does the dealer have to download the latest maps?

Spoke to Dealer - can only be done by them via hard drive upgrade - 400 plus VAT and then will still be a year out of date! I could buy 4 Tom Tom's a year for that- what a rip off

Agreed - it is a major ripoff especially considering the price of a TomTom or what you get for free on an Android phone.

Wtf

400? DId you ask on April 1st? That's just taking the piss!!

I'm sure I saw other threads about doing this the "less than approved way", but I suspect you'd run the risk of bricking your hardware, which wouldn't be good. There's always a way though ...

Honestly, that's crazy pricing.
