Just Placed an F30 Order
Hi, I'm new to this forum but want to say hi to everyone
I placed an order this Friday and can't wait to pick up the car. My dealer told me it's slated for June production so an July delivery is expected. Does anyone know why it's taking that long to get into production? or my dealer was just being too conservative. F30 328i Mineral Grey Matallic Premium Tech Heated Front Seat checked out the lines but didn't like neither the modern nor luxery line and wife said no for the sport line. Went through the EPP program so final price for the car is: $37,235 Didn't have much $$ to spend on the options but if you think I should add something let me know. I think there is still time ![]() ![]() Thanks. Jeff Last edited by koolkiller; 04-28-2012 at 12:15 PM. |

Dealers only receive so many slots to put cars into production. They probably didn't have one open until June. Or as I've read from other members they might have taken you as the patient type and are saving their earlier production slots to entice buyers who are on the fence due to the wait.

I'm in the market for a 328i and one of my dilemma's is whether to get the sport line or no line. What do you think of look/feel interior of the base line?
Also, thats an amazing price. A 328 for a base line, premium, and tech has an invoice of $41k if my math is correct. Last edited by soopra; 04-28-2012 at 02:22 PM. |

EPP? I assume that's the employee purchase program, correct? Does anyone know if BMW has a supplier discount program, similar to that offered by Audi or Infiniti?

I think it's such a mistake to get an expensive BMW for a girlfriend or wife unless they can really appreciate the vehicle and it's engineering. Most of them just care about the looks. And I don't know about you guys but my wife leave crap and snacks in her car constantly. Drives me insane. my car is spotless.

Interesting...my wife drives our MDX and I'm going to get the BMW. She also "lives" in the car, which I am constantly cleaning.

Sounds like a great car, congratulations. The biggest difference between the luxury, modern, and no-line is aesthetics, thats all personal choice with no wrong answer. I think the tires on the no-line have smaller rims on them. I'm curious if that changes the ride at all. The sport line has a few more options to it that aren't purely aesthetic.
