E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

im getting her back on the road since my transmission went out shes been sitting on the side of my house. but its been my most reliable bimmer. now at 300k im happy to put her back into the world of e30s. =]
i know shes just rattle canned but she is straight as a whistle so i think im gonna fix my lady, especially that cheap.
Really want to get the seta going. than ill have my 1993 Mazda Pickup, 1985 BMW 318i, and 1988 BMW 325e
Guess im starting a build thread
I know 318's suck and the auto sucks worse but she is still a e30.

bmw 318i 1988 e30 help
hi can anyone help i jumped another car my bm cut out and she has not went since but tries to go i have had valve timming checked , fuel, coil. and sparked plugs they are all ok finaly had ecu unit changed but stil no joy the car is fuel injected and fixed distributer thats the one with the rota arm only had that checked as well and is ok new to forum please help

Are you a member of www.e30zone.net

This is in the UK and will know your model well.
Some E30s have a fusable link in the wire coming off the battery...not the thick one that goes straight to the starter motor....the thinner one. This link can blow, escpecially if you jump another vehicle wrong.
