FYI you can order factory painted bumper

My factory painted replacement rear bumper arrived today. Its a perfect paint match, color, spray pattern, gloss. Very happy with it. Waited 1 month and cost me $2+k, money well spent IMO

i special ordered it from my local dealer. take a look at realoem website, it lists part numbers for the prepainted bumpers

I saw your thread, and was interested to know what you meant by special ordered. Is this something that is generally not done. Did you need to do some convincing? I am told by the three dealers I have contacted that they are unable to order pre-painted bumpers. Any insight you have would be greatly appreciated.
