Seriously messed up

Hey guys I need help. I totally failed at fixing my twisted seat. I need to know where I can but another cable and how to put my seat back in correctly. The bolt holes didn't line up after wrestling with it for two and a half hours. Help please!

Not sure about the part - maybe realoem.com might have the part number.

Back when I did the fix. I seriously frayed one of the cables. I cut it back with wire cutters, twisted it with a pliers, soldered it and them somehow barely got it to go where it should.

PM South26, his name is Andy, I'm sure he could hook you up with that cable. Got me my fuel pump within a week

lean the whole seat forward, while its tilted forward, slide it in under the front clips, and then tilt it back, the bolts should line up. Plug in the seat so you can adjust it to to move it around. I agree it can be a bear but it can be done.

maybe the clips ("hooks") on the front are damaged?

That's what I thought I did. I didn't try to slide it while it was tilted forward under the clips though.
