Well I already made my first stupid mistake of the ED trip. I booked my Munich hotel with no onsite parking. I assumed that hotel will have some sort of parking even if it was paid hence I didn’t even bother to check. The hotel isn’t even cheap. I booked it in hurry and that was my mistake.
I will need parking only for a day as I will be leaving for Fussen in morning. Any advice or experience on public secured parking near Hauptbahnhof as I am staying close to it?

Not sure if this helps, but you can park your car at the Welt. Maybe do that and use transit to and from the Welt somehow?

+1 about parking it at the Welt underground garage. They'll give you free ticket to get out so you won't pay anything. If you already picked up your car, just go back to the Premium Lounge and ask the staff for a free parking pass.

I picked up my car last week and parked it at the Welt garage overnight. As others have said, the Welt staff will be happy to provide you with parking passes for the garage. They gave me a few of them so I could enter and leave the garage as many times as I wanted. I left the car there for the night and just took the U-bahn back to the Welt in the morning to pick it up. If you have a lot of luggage, just pick up your car from the Welt and drive back to the hotel to pick up your bags. I don't think you will find a safer place to park your new BMW.

+1 for parking at the Welt, not only is it free, but they have some security (as far as I have read)

There is a parking garage right next to king's hotel center, which is about 2 blocks away from the central station.
