Falling Euro

In the wake of elections in Greece and France, the Euro reached a 3 1/2 year low against the pound.

Retail walk-up buy Euro rates are 1.00 = 1,21 or better.

Mid market rates:

1,00 = $1.305
1.00 = $1.61
1.00 = 1,23

Pound is doing pretty well right now against the dollar too, it's been over $1.61 for at least a week now.

I would like to be a fly on the wall at the first meeting of Merkle and Hollande.

Cheers

I remember back when Helmut Kohl would force Typisch Deutsch meals on his unsuspecting guests.
