I got 99 problems but my thermostat aint one!

So I was throwing a P128 code and I replaced my thermostat recently, but I had to use a computer to clear the code. All is dandy in that realm currently but for some reason after I am having issues with my brake lights. I have had an issue in the past with the rear right but I fixed the problem by simply tapping the light and forcing it to behave! This was about a year ago but now the problem lies within my center brake light. Ill giver the old taparoo and it fixes the problem for about 5 minuets before the brake light indicator comes on. Not sure if the clearing of codes is relevant but it was immediately after that the problem occurred. I have yet to start chasing down shorts or anything (hard to find the time). IDK what do you guys think??? Also I bought the car with 87k miles on it and it now has 138k (purrs like a kitten) but I would like to find out the maintenance guide for my milage. Like as far as tune ups go. I change the oil on the regular of course but is there anything I should do in the near future with transmission fluids, differential fluids, or what have you? Thanks!

check the trunk harness and see if its damaged. it may be related to the center brake light intermitten issues.

The trunk harness? Do you mean the actual factory connector to the light it's self or some thing else?

also replace all 3 bulbs with steel based ones

and see if problem goes away, when they get close to failure the warning light goes on. He means check the harness in the trunk lid. I would replace the three bulbs first, Check sockets
for signs of burning as well.

The third brake light is known for burning out and melting the connector, replace all the bulbs in the rear of the car with steel based as previous poster said. I had the same problems and searched this forum. I replaced the left light first then the problem moved and I ended up changing them all and needin a new third brake light connector, no problems since and its been a year.
