Rear Bumper Edge Protector

OK - put a few little dings on the rear bumper hauling some lumber. Does anyone know if the "load edge protector" part # 51140418309 listed for the X3 through '07 will fit the '08 X3? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...54&hg=51&fg=95
Thanks!

David - Thanks, BMW says they don't have a guard for the '08 but they may just not realize it.
Is this something I would have to have dealer installed or can a rsemi-mechanical guy like me do it?

I put it on mine right to the edge without doing a 90 bend from horizontal to vertical. You do need to remove some trim to get it under the body seal.

I just received this item from ECS without instructions. Has anyone installed this item before? It came with the cover wrapped up in paper, two small sealed bags (?adhesive in one, soap in the other?) and an applicator to push it down I guess.
