New to BMW F30 328i on order

I've been reading along for quite some time, researching the F30 to death. I placed my order today for PCD. I guess I'll spend the next few months obsessing a tracking. Already logged into BMW and ready watch those status codes increment, (currently 111). I'm using my BMW Drive credit towards the purchase.

Congratulations! Very nice spec, the Sportline looks great in Silver.

Congrats! I'm less than a month away from taking delivery on my 335 and truth be told, it hasn't been an easy wait.

I followed this blog post and entered my production number in my BMW account. The post shows using a VIN, but you can track by production number also. To be fair, I guess the code wasn't actually on the BMW website, it was on the paperwork I received from the dealer.

Great people, discounts on parts and accessories, and rebates when you buy a new BMW (a minimum of $500). As a member you will be able to attend autocrosses, drivers' schools, and other social activities. Well worth it!

And may I compliment you on the choice of 6MT!!!! Way to keep the tradition alive!

Congratulations. Good Specs. 6MT is the way to drive BMW.

Thanks for the tip. I am waiting for my 328i delivery. I don't know of any rebates when I bought. I received $2000 discount from dealer. I will register in BCCA.

Thanks. I did join the BMWCCA, but not soon enough to qualify for the rebate for this car. One of my neighbors has been to some of the autocrosses and told me they were a lot of fun.

Do you just have to be a member prior to purchasing the car? Or is there some other requirement?

You have to be a member for a year before buying the car.

Congrats on placing your order today!!! I ordered mine on 4/5/12, and am hoping to have it in time to enjoy for Memorial Day weekend (even if I pick it up the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, that would be cool)! My car's currently on the TOMBARRA, en route from Zeebrugge, Belgium to Southampton, UK. It's scheduled to arrive in NY on 5/20. Very excited!

I'll have to look into BMWCCA. This will be our 2nd BMW, but we haven't joined BMWCCA yet!

Which vessel are you on? And how long after the ship sailed from the port before your status was updated from "Waiting at the port" to "onboard a ship" ?

Unfortunately, my car had finished in production on 4/20, but didn't depart Bremerhaven on the TOMBARRA until 5/5/12. The status on the BMWUSA website was updated to En Route on 5/7 or 5/8 - I can't remember for sure, but know it was at least 2 days behind when the ship actually departed.
