Is the drop in K&N the air filter same as E90 335i (part# 33-2458) ?

It's best to send an e-mail to K&N and ask. I asked them about an air filter for the N20 and they were quick to respond (with a not yet).

From personal experience, the use of K&N fouled up my MAF with a $500 repair bill on E90.
