$300 off first payment?

Can you clarify the steps you followed?
- Bought the car and, in that process, setup BMWFS account for financing or lease
- Used the app to schedule a test drive and, after entering BMWFS account info, got a voucher / redemption code
- Took voucher back to dealer to apply to contract and get discount on 1st month payment

I got the app in March scheduled test drive (had to input dealership). After I signed paperwork at the end of March I received my BMWFS acct. I then put my name and zip code into the app. it found my BMWFS acct an asked for my CAs name. After typing this, it said congratulations or something to that effect and spit out the voucher.

I then sent the voucher to my CA for redemption.

As per the fine print, you DO need to be a BMWFS customer in order to receive the voucher. Not in order to test drive, not in order to purchase the car, etc., etc., etc. I was a BMWFS customer at the time I applied for the voucher. In other words, you cannot finance your vehicle through other means.

The Ultimate Drive App promotional site has changed since it was initially put up. It appears that it is for "current BMWFS customers to discover the new 3 series". This was not stated anywhere in the initial rules/promotions.


Just verified from dealership that it is indeed a loyalty program and acct number needs entered on contract when signing lease or financing paperwork.

No, even though I had the voucher, iI needed it before contract signing. Therefore I'm ineligible.

no big deal. it would've upset me if I was supposed to get it and didn't.

I just got an email today though that my BMWCCA rebate is being processed! So that is good

My credit union has a much lower interest rate than BMW so the $300 voucher isn't worth it.

Hi all,

For some reason I never received an alert that someone else had posted to this thread. Mea culpa. I've been active on the f30post forum whenever a question arose (and I received an email from the forum).

I think all of the questions above have been resolved. If not, please feel free to post here and I'll see what I can do.

To be clear, this offer -is- meant for customers who are moving from one lease/loan into a new lease/loan on a new 3 Series. We've expanded the program so it'll work on any *new* 3 Series, be it a 2012 model, an earlier but new model, an M, etc. We've also extended the program to July 31.

Also to be clear - you can give the voucher code (generated in the app) to your CA at any point until you receive the vehicle.

Had BMW Financial account, downloaded app, did the drive, bought the 328.
First monthly statement from BMW Financial did not have the $300 credit. Questioned my dealer today and was told "a $300 check will be mailed to you". Not sure if the check is coming from BMW Financial or my dealer.

That would surprise me. Unless you're in some kind of a different situation, it should appear as a discount on your first payment. I'll PM you for some more details to investigate further.

I was told it would apply to second payment since first payment always pay when you open the account but in ED case it would be the third payment since BMWFS pay your second payment. I will let you know all when I get my 3rd statements.

I have the voucher and pick up my car Friday (sooo excited) and wanted to know if the $300 comes off your first payment or your first bill from BMWFS.

my dealer took $1300 off the selling price of the $300 for the voucher and $1000 for team usa drive event. so i didnt have to wait for anything from bmwfs. i took delivery of my f30 last friday.

I picked up my car today and my dealer said it will come off my first billing payment, so it did not get taken off today. I was kind of annoyed since it clearly states on the website "first payment" and not first "billed payment". I sure hope this info is correct.

I checked my first statement today online. It shows a $300 credit from BMWFS as well as a payment of $xxx "paid at dealer" (which was $300 less than the amount of my first payment). But...my agreement with the dealer was for me to put $1300 down which included my first payment as well as inceptions etc. So, either I should have only paid $1000 down after my voucher OR my first billijng statement should show $300 less than my payment. Neither of which is done, so basically it looks like I didn't get anything, nil, nada. I am going to call tomorrow, but not sure if I should call the dealer or BMWFS. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks
