Xpel installed!

Sorry, no fancy pics...not much to see really; it's essentially a giant clear sticker lol

But I must say this is a must and well worth the money spent. I had the partial hood/fender, front bumper, side mirrors and trunk package installed. I would have had the rockers done too but it wouldn't have been completed in one day (I was too impatient to leave her overnight).

Now I won't cringe everytime I drive on the freeway or cross through construction zones with loose debris in the roadway. I'm now officially set for my 500 mile journey to Bimmerfest 2012!

I gave up my car for three days for the all the stuff i got done!

It's great, isn't it? I hope it holds up over time. BTW my guy put some in my door handle hollows on all 4 doors so fingernails don't scratch the paint. Very thoughtful!

I would say handles cups coverage is must and also trunk load strip.. they get real nasty over time

Door handles, damn it, I knew I was forgetting something! I'll get that done after Bimmerfest...I mainly needed the bumper done for the road trip. In the meantime, I'll keep opening the door for my wife to protect the car from her nails! Lol

Ha! The trunk loading area would have been good. I never thought to ask. I'll let my installer know that next time he has some excess, he should call me.

I got a very good installer i think my car is lucky i came across some very good installers.. the Xpel guy just threw in the door handles and trunk area

and other great product is the AirBlue80 i hesitated initially but i am very happy i did it! including the windshield!

I'm just bummed that per my installers recommendations, I shouldn't wash the car for at least a week

I washed mine the next day.

Yeah, I'm sure it'd be fine...but if my installer is recommending it then I'll take his word for now. Even though there's a warranty, I don't want the hassle of returning because a corner is peeling or something I could have prevented.

I was looking into getting Xpel also, but only on the front bumper. How much did it run you with install?
