What unscheduled maintenance has been performed on your 335d?

You said 6k until next change but how many since the last oil change? Seems when te DEF light happens around 6k past an oil change it means either they did not too off both tanks properly or the transfer pump is not working.

About 6K or 7K miles since the last oil change. Guessing that they didn't fill it properly last time. If it happens again, then it's something else.

Has to be one of 2 things. Either there is a problem with the DEF metering system injecting too much DEF, or it was not completely filled the last time (most likely).

I find it rather annoying no provisions are given to us to see roughly how much DEF is in the car. Annoys me since it is a required fluid for the car to run. To me it is like having no fuel level gauge but only a low on fuel warning.

Only if it is in fact the dealer not being bone heads and simply never filled things up completely during the prior oil change. It seems more times than not it is the dealer being bone heads and I doubt any recall is going to fix that. The secondary issue that seems to be a cause sometimes is the crystalizing of the fluid within the transfer pump, wonder if any recall could fully fix that or if it is a flaw to the very design of a two tank system.

25,400 miles: replaced right rear punctured stock sport package Potenza run-flat with the same

After reading this forum the other day, I realized that the squealing noise I've been hearing for some time now was coming from my vehicle. Will bring in for A/C squeal.
