iphone 4s problem

I have a 2011 328i and an iphone4s thats paired...can you stream bluetooth in it?

The car (quite annoyingly) does not come standard with BT. You have to have the Nav system, the Harmon Kardon stereo or simply the BMW Assist with Bluetooth option, which comes bundled with the former options. If you have BT enabled, then you should be able to stream from the iPhone. You can't have the car wired up via the USB cable though, it disables the BT option while the phone is connected (and you have to reenable it).

I do have a 2011 328i With Harman Karman and I do have regular BMW Assist and an iphone 4s. BT is enabled as my phone works and I see my contacts, but no where do I see how to do it. If I disable BT it just says"turn blue tooth off" and it disconnects my phone?

Not sure if you also have iDrive. I know on mine you go to CD/Multimedia > Bluetooth (audio). Then scroll down to highlight your paired iPhone and push the Options button next to the iDrive scroll wheel. You'll then see a screen that has an Audio check box that you need to have checked. You should then have the ability to stream music from your phone.

I just looked. I guess on the non-iDrive builds the bt audio is disabled. That is ridiculous but board member Technic seems to have confirmed that this is disabled and he hasn't been able to code it back into functioning. If he can't do it...
