Glass wind deflector
Hi! Just installed a glass wind deflector I bought from Germany. Much better overall compared to the gauze deflector, now I can see clearly in daytime but more importantly at night time. The quality of fittings comparable to BMW, not the tape used by many other after market ones and is glass not Perspex! Will add some picks when the weather improves

Was the glass windscreen purchased from a BMW dealer or other retailer?
Car looks great - I have an 09 Jet Black

Hi thanks for the comment! I don't usually like black such a pain to keep clean (but superb when done ), however it was the white leather inside that caused me to buy the car, could not find another colour with white upholstery and the same spec at the time, Have changed a few minor things new stainless steel tail pipes, (hated the dull OEM), bee sting aerial (so I can get my outside cover on) de-badged and new mats.
There are not a lot of options available plus the highish spec of the car! The Wind deflector came for a German retailer, I had used them many years ago when I had an AMG SLK, and the quality is still the same excellent. I bought it through Ebay, they do sell separately but I ended up with high charges on transferring money. The only slight issue is all instructions are in German but then how hard can it be ???

Black that is done right looks like an "ink well". It may be harder to keep clean but when it is - WOW. I looked for a white with a beige interior but could not find with the otions I wanted. I settled for the black/black and I am not looking back. I would think the white leather is more difficult to keep clean than the black exterior.
What is the name of the retailer? I looked on eBay but nothing is posted? Thanks for the great update on your beautiful car. |

Hi, the link is as follows:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_2910wt_1185 As I mentioned they are a German company once into the link you can go to their website and look at all the other cars they make screens for! I think they do them for some of the major aftermarket Hartge etc..

I just modded my wind deflector by replacing the mesh with tempered glass and sandblasting the Z4 logo on. I really like look of the glass over the mesh.
