Same here with the E34. I had cash-in-hand and they wouldn't reply. Deals like that don't come along very often, at leat not here. It seems that Chad gets deals like that thrown at him every week. He only buys the ones that will have problems immediately, like clutch failure.

If you guys are car hunting and within reasonable driving distance of Washington DC, add the main DC craigslist and the NOVA subcraigslist thingy to your searching regimen. Older bimmers are pretty plentiful in this area, and I wouldn't mind going to check out a car for one of you guys and sending you more pictures and stuff.

Happens to me all the time, I ask dudes for more pictures, they say they'll get some tomorrow, then next thing you know it's deleted!

To be honest, I thought I was going to hate this, but I don't.

Almost got my self into trouble today.

A couple weeks ago I sold a guy a set of wheels, I gave him two up front and he gave me $50 with the promise of $75 more when I gave him the other two which I had lent to a friend to get the tires off of. He hounded me for 3 days until I finally got fed up and drove to my friends house, got the wheels, and drove them to the other end of the county so the kid could havehis mechanic pull off the tires and then I could give them to my friend, trouble started when he only had an other $50, but I was feeling nice so I said I could wait till payday on the 4th....

On the 6th I started texting him asking politely for my money, I was always professional and non threatening, but he didn't answer for a week and a half, at which point I decided to repossess a wheel, I went to the DQ where he works, got out my jack, tire iron, and spare wheel (I didn't want to be a dick so I was gonna leave him with a full size steely) and went to work.
Things went south when some jack ass pulled up too far from the window, making the kid's manager lean far enough out to see behind the building, so they all come out and the kid says "what's up man" and I explained that I was missing some money and was pretty peeved about him ignoring me for a week and a half. He said he had changed cell phone providers and hadn't gotten any of my messages and also made out like he had meant that he was going to pay me this paycheck (he gets paid every other Friday), I didn't want to cause more of a ruckus so I said I'd be back on Friday.

Anyone here tried out Nitto Neogens? I'm going to buy a set before I drive back to the east coast for the final time and put their tires to the test. My rear end fcukin devours tires like they're made of soft serve Ice cream.

I figured they'd cost more than that... I'm still getting them though, 4k miles and I've roasted another set of cheapo rear tires(firestone spin off brand)

I thought of just ripping up shiit tires, but having actual grip in the back is sweet.

I'm thinking I get a little sidewall flex, though. They are 235/45. Didn't notice it with my last tires.
