Navigation- traffic info not working

working in NYC as well ... this feature is almost mandatory for my commute ... glad its back.

At least one forum member states he sees traffic info when guidance is not engaged. I never see traffic indicators unless I have active guidance to a destination. It's on the main nav page, there are no special "views" to select.

Traffic flow indications (those grey triangles) should be visible whether you're navigating to a particular destination or not. Mine seems like it finally started working again last night after being MIA for the past few days.

I went to views on the left hand side of the screen this morning and there was a traffic info choice. I clicked it and it changed maps. I head into boston a little before 5AM so there was no traffic or triangles. The commute home tonight will be telling. I always thought the NAV had to be in guidance mode to get traffic info which is a pain in the ass. We'll see.

I should probably read the manual at some point First car I have ever been so lazy about. I figured after so many BMW's in a row that there would only be a few things I would need to figure out.

RTTI (Real time traffic information) still isn't working. This morning it had false information, it says there was traffic, but the road couldn't be clearer. This afternoon it completely missed the 2 miles of stand still traffic.

I am on the traffic map without guidance engaged and I show no indicators that it is working. Guessing from this thread I should see triangles.
