I'm Baaaaaack!

OK, after 20 months or so over at the E90 forum I had someone in my family decide they wanted to finish the lease on my 2011 335i with lots of toys and go fast goodies (Level 1 Performance Upgrade) and I get to return to my “automobile love of my life” the 535. This is my 9th BMW and after driving several F10 loaners I’ve been anxious to get back to the slightly larger car.

Since I didn’t have time to order one my dealer found almost exactly what I was looking for and I’ll pick it up tomorrow. Photos will be posted by the weekend.

Space Gray/ Gray Leather/Premium/ Sport/ Technology package and a few other things. The only thing I really wanted and couldn’t get was HUD but I guess I’ll just have to live without it.

I hope I’m as happy with this 5 Series as I have been with all the others.

What was the msrp and the purchase price u were able to negotiate!
did u have any credits from BMW to apply?

Interested in hearing what you think. I went the other way. I have a F10 535i and got an E92 335i MSport a couple months ago. The cars are so different you can't really compare them, even though they have the same engine.

Yes I seem to have gained a liking to it. Mainly because it’s so easy to keep clean. I like White but they couldn’t find one with the right equipment. My 08 535 was Monaco Blue and was gorgeous when it was clean but about as hard to keep clean as black. My 05 530 was Titanium Gray and equally hard to keep clean. Maybe I’m just getting lazy in my old age.

I'll let you know after a few weeks. I was driving the 3 in to the office this morning and I was thinking about how much darn fun it is. Like you said, same engine but a whole different experience.
