Had a great time today out in the Z4. Met a friend of mine who owns a Lamborghini and went to lunch. I let him drive my Z and he was very complimentary of it. He said he was surprised at how quick/ powerful it was. This meant a lot to me coming from a Gallardo owner Here are a few phone pics from today. Oh by the way that's me in the Lambo.

What are your thoughts on the Lambo after taking it for a spin?

I have probably driven this car 6 to 8 times. It is everything I thought it would be and then some. The sound cant be described, you have to experience it. The steering is very responsive, it is firm but manageable. The all wheel drive helps. The ride is also very firm but certainly not unbearable. The visibilty is actually pretty good, certainly compared to the older Lambos and other exotics (so Im told). The Gallardo can be driven in traffic fairly easily, although the E-gear does take some getting used to. I looked at 04-05 Gallardos for a year or more, studied Lamborghinitalk.com and other sources but they are out of my price range. Besides the 85K- 110K it would take to purchase there is the outrageous maintenance costs. Clutch jobs at a dealer can run 6-8 grand alone. A guy on a certain forum made a chart on "Average" cost of drivng a Gallardo for 60k miles and it came up to about 40K in parts alone, no labor charges.
