2010 X6 xDrive35i Info

Hello X6 enthusiasts! I'm seriously considering upgrading from my 07 X3 to a 10 X6 35i. I've found an interesting low mileage example but it is located at remote dealership several hundred miles away. Are there any querks or issues common to the 2010 model year I should be on the look out for? Are their specific things I should ask the dealer about?

Any help / information would be greatly appreciated!

I own a 2011 model and there is nothing that I can think of-running very well for the amount time I have driven it. Just eclipsed $9.00 per gallon in Italy, so my other is driven often. Hoewver, I dust her off periodically and hit the open roads and drive it like its suppose to be driven; not below a 100 mph on the autostrada or in between speeding camera's.

Not many 2011s out there and the ones I see are 10k+ over my price range. What is wrong with the N54 / 6 speed gear box combination?

many owner says that N54 has HPFP problem, no problem with 6 speed box, just a bit out date....

N55 fixed that HPFP problem,

HPFP = High Pressure Fuel Pump. Here's an article on the concern and potential legal issues being raised by prior pissed off owners...

Just had my 2010 X6 35i bought back due to numerous issues with the engine. Everyone I know who bought 2011 or better seems to have had minimal engine issues compared to 2010 or earlier.
