E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

Seats in '12 128i
New to the forum. Have a question I cannot find the answer for.
I'm going to be ordering a 128 this week. The BMW site allows me to get power "regular" seats as an option. The sports seats are listed as manual. Can you get the memory/power option there or is the sport seat strictly manual? |

Unless there is a change for 2012, the sport seats are only available as part of one of the Sport Packages. The power/memory seats are a separate option (also included in the Premium Package), so one may have seats in 4 flavors:
Non-sport - manual Non-sport - power Sport - manual Sport - power. http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...ndOptions.aspx My '08 128i has both sport and premium packages, so the sport seats are power. Tom Last edited by Tom K.; 05-20-2012 at 09:08 AM. |

Yes, you can get both power and manual sport seats.
IMO, the power memory seats are great if you have multiple people driving the car. However, if you're going to routinely have back seat passengers, the manual seats are a little easier for entry and egress to the back seats.
