KW coilovers Varient 3

If anyone has any experience with these coilovers can you tell me how they feel?

I have x5 48 without the adaptive drive option & I plan on daily driving and better handling ...

still waiting ... any feedback on this?

Do you know which version to buy with AD, seems like they have a with or without version if you have EDC, which I believe only the X5M has?

I put them on a 06 charger daytona I had. They were great. I did have some minor issue in adjusting them, but other than that they provided great handling!

That's what I originally thought, but whenever I searched it always returns X5M results, thanks for the confirmation.

The Adaptive drive is used in the normal non-///M vehicles.
EDC (electronic Damper Control) is only for ///M vehicles.

I think they are technically different from each other.

You are right they don't talk about adaptive drive ... they only stated EDC? I don't know why?

I sent a reply already.

one member on the Xbimmers forum has installed KWV3 on an X5 M & he has placed a thread about it. He was very happy about it & his car should be provide with the EDC. If I find it I will place the link here.

Adaptive Drive = EDC + ARS

Both X5's (///M and non-M) have AD (AD optional on non-M X5 right now).

Tuning of the EDC is different and so are the EDC shocks for each.

ARS is very similar if not nearly identical. Not 100% sure about tuning of ARS though.

After two months driving on KW, I am very happy about the setup. Much better handling / control, less body roll and better appearance. I am still using the factory setup without adjustment.
