Blue tooth issues

Help - I have a 2009 135i and when I use my iphone 4 (software is def. updated) people have difficulty hearing me. It's ridiculous to have to go to a headset when you spend this much for a car.

Strange thing though, when I pair my iphone with my husbands 550i I sound fine - also when my husband pairs his blackberry in my car it works fine as well.

I have heard the TCU needs replacement but what evidence do I have for the dealer that needs to happen? I've taken it in already and of course they say it's fine. It's not - I practically have to yell through a conversation.

Sounds to me like the phone is the problem if the others are ok.

Getting the phone to pair can sometimes be tricky, even if it is on the approved list. Some times it takes several attempts. N4S
