New shoes

Well, my X3 just got 2 pairs of new shoes (Scorpions STR, 17") at 103.500 kms. It is unbelievable how one can feel the difference between old tires and the new ones. I thought it will be hard to feel it.

+1! I too noticed a huge difference when I swapped my 18" scorpions for the Michelin Pilot Sport Plus tires. I think the old shoes got hard and inflexible whereas the new tires were nice and supple. So far after 30K miles on the new tires they still look like new and perform at least as good and probably better than the scorpions they replaced at 48K miles (with still a lot of tread).

I just put on Pirelli Scorpion Verde

Quick update on the Pirelli Scorpion Verde - Quiet, comfortable, but the tires roll more then original Scorpion STR. Its a trade off. Hell, my wife even noticed the sidewall roll. Other then that, great tire.

Congrats and good choice! Wondering how much of an arm and a leg those tires would cost down there!!

I brought new shoes from US. I suppose down here it would be around 400 usd per tire
