Checklist?

I wanted to know before signing the lease and taking delivery what are the things I should do? Also is there a speed limit for certain miles that the car needs to be driven at? Anything else?

You asked this in another thread:

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...01#post6864901

Here's a good read.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=things+to+know+...ng+a+car+lease

It shows things like this:

http://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/q...a-new-car.html

http://www.carleaseauto.com/lease-gu...cklist-001.php

Searching this F30 forum for "vehicle break in" also shows this:

Sometimes it's better to do a little research to find out the information you're looking for instead of just asking to be spoon fed for each question you have. Most questions have already been asked multiple times and the answers are within this website or the internet if you are willing to do a little digging. Then you get the specific answer to what you are looking for, instead of getting random replies that may not help.

I've only been active on this forum for about a year, but I know more now than a majority of the members because I put the time in to read and learn.

Tom, I took it off the sig once you posted you saw it.

Sid369, you're doing fine. Just wanted to let you know most of the info is already out there. If you can't find it, ask.

Should I sign the lease without seeing the car as its on its way and won't be in by the time we go to sign the papers. The CA assured me that on the time of delivery if the car has scratches. dents or anything that was not agreed upon, they will shred the documents and start over again in finding a new car.

The CA wants this to be in today last day of the month. I don't know hwy it is so important though?

This pisses a lot of sales folks off, but I NEVER sign anything until I have taken my car out for a test drive, and given it a very good look over both inside and out. If your guy wants it signed by the end of the month, it means he is working towards some quota which either enhances his own pay, dealership income, or both.

Would you buy a house without first walking through it on the day of sale? Trusting that they will "shred" legally binding documents if anything is wrong? You have a great deal of power until you sign the sales documents. Once that is done, you become just another customer.
