My opinion...stock E36 M3 exhaust flows fine. However, at 25 pounds lighter than stock this would make a good replacement if your current exhaust is shot.

Flow fine but sounds like garbage. So I would say yes. If you are going for performance and sound. As long as you have the other mods to take advantage of better flow.
