Question about the Power and Torque meters

Can anyone tell me if the power and torque meter on 2013 models comes without the Navi/Tech package?

Do I have to order Navi or Tech package to get the Idrive sport display with the power/torque meters?
As in the following post from the other forum:
http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showth...=687348&page=2

Any 2013 owner, without navi/tech package, have the meters screen on idrive?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Your link doesn't work. I have never seen a stock BMW with a power or torque meter.

I have the tech package in my 28i. There a setting under vehicle info -> Sports Display.

Also, when you change the drive setting from comfort to sport, an option displays on the screen asking me if I want to switch the sport display (along with a confirmation of sports mode).

I think the question was if the hp/tq meter is included in the cars without tech/satnav.

Here is a video from my car

I obtained the vehicle yesterday - 2.8 w/o navigation and can't locate the feature? Already scrolled through the options and the Sport feature is not available either?

After reading up a little, maybe you have to code the car to turn it on.

How can one re-program the display? Does it void warranty?

How difficult is it to mod?

Thanks for the info, to all.
I guess the answer is you needed the Tech Package or Navi.

Sorry for the bad link.

Pretty sure it's just the tech or nav package which comes with the larger screen.
