Reverse left light and rear left fog light error. Help please!

Hi All

I have just got a 2006 bmw 650i but on start up it has some warnings. Rear left reverse light and rear left fog light failure. I wonder if it might be a fuse or connector somewhere (doubt very much that the two bulbs have blown simultaniously). I have read that to access the light cluster it is a rear bumper off job! Is there a way of reaching the plug/connector? Or is there a fuse i can check for? If not any advice on removing the rear bumper would be great.

Also the routine exhaust check is red and also the general service light is red (when going into the test/reset mode) I cant seem to reset these by holding down the trip light (unlike the brake pad warnings etc...).

Is there another way of resetting these two service indicators manually?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

well you can easily verify if the lights are failing, they are probably not on the same fuse circuit! Yes to get to the bulbs off comes the bumper!!!! there is a thread showing how to do it!! And no ! no one would ever believe that you have to remove a bumper to get at the lights so it makes sense, once off, replace all of the bulbs!!!!
