Sold my M3 after almost 7 years...
I ordered the car back in 2005 and took delivery on Sept 1st of '05. Wonderful car. Put a mere 24,000 miles on it in that time (too many cars.)
Two consolations: (1) the car went to an enthusiast and (2) I will soon order a 2013 Boxster S. And I just noticed that I no longer own either of the cars featured in my avatar...

Congrats on the sale. I'm sure the new Boxster will treat you well.
I don't see me selling mine any time soon. I've had it for 10 years now and it still brings smile to my face every time I drive it.
