Unpaint painted E92 wheels

I'm looking at an E92 where the previous owner painted them to match the space gray body. I'm not sure if I like this or not, but if I decide I do not how expensive/difficult would it be to restore the OEM look? Alternatively, I guess I could powder coat them black I would guess.

im sure i don't like that one bit

and also pretty sure you can get this fixed rather easily if you were to take the black powder coat route. not sure how easy it is to get to OEM status.

Just made a phone call and I guess I answered my own question, it would prob run around $350-$400/wheel to restore factory look. Guy said they don't do powder coating, rather they send the wheels to a shop to have it done but it would prob cost half as much as refinishing them.

Too bad someone spent $ to do this, it may cost me as much, or more to fix it. Guess my offer just dropped by about $1K.
