I have to apologize to 1bad540 from an earlier post. I said I used the VHT caliper paint, but went out to my car and in fact I used the Dupli Color caliper paint too. I agree with 1bad540, it's the best and easiest to use. Came out great. My bad.

yeah man I think I will black out the grill. I dont know when but will try to do it soon and will black out the window trim when I paint my rims black. That way I dont get tired of the same look over time

On the 128's, what is the thickness of spacers for front and rear to make the wheels sit flush? Thanks

it depends on what you drive (745 or 750) I have a 745i with 20mm rear and 15mm front dropped on H&R springs

cool then just look at my setup and if you like it then go for it. I know you can put 20mm in the front too but I personalty prefer 15 just to avoid unnecessary problems. if you are going to buy a set of springs and spacers check out this thread

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...=596276&page=2

there are PDF files to help you measure and ECS has the cheapest springs compared to the ebay ones (around $50 less)

and check out this thread I started yesterday since I have a lot of pix just so you have a better idea on how it looks

sak 916,
Thanks for the info. I'll check out your ride. I like the look. How much drop did you get from the springs, front and back?

That could be enough to close the gap. I'll see once I change rims.

Thanks. Work in progress. Just put the blacked out grille in today. After oil leak, hose replacement, bad rear bushing, and some other small items (Going to my mechanic on Friday), Exhaust and then to Paper for Ipod kit. Not interested in anything new or newer. I like my year body style and the way it drives.
Always liked your car and the pic's.

Looking good my man! You always find such nice houses to take pictures of your car in front of

I love that one with the effect that looks like the road is cracked

What program do you use for editing?

I assume that you must take calipers off completely to paint them? Is that a DIY thing...easy?

no you can paint them while they are on, just make sure to cover the rest so you dont get paint on anything else
