Maintenance comparison: '08 550 and '08 M5

All,

I'm looking for some experienced M5 drivers to give me some context to understand how much more it would cost to maintain an '08 M5 versus an '08 550i. I'm truly talking about maintenance and repairs. I am NOT talking about gas, insurance, deprecation etc.

I would appreciate any feedback and context from the well educated and experienced users of this group. I'm closing in on buying my fourth BMW and deciding between a CPO '08 550 and a used '08 M5.
