Damn it! Mine finished production on May 30 as well but is still sitting at the port...argh! What's worse is when I checked ship schedules a few weeks back there was supposed to be another one leaving next week. Now it shows June 20 is the next one!!! I know it will be worth the wait and all but damn if I wouldnt love it sooner!

My production end date was 5/29 and it's still showing at the docks on the website. Do you know what your production number is?

I have both the production no. and the VIN... and have been following progress on both bmwusa.com and marinetraffic.com

I can't really see your production number on your post...my production number is 3870903. Please tell me yours is same...

Each production no. is unique... mine is 38673xx

This delay of yours sucks! It's hard to look at the bright side, but at least your car is on American soil right now and once it's FINALLY on a truck, the ride down to you will be short and sweet.

Yeah. I am trying but I kinda lost the excitement the other day when I heard about everyone else getting their cars and delivery dates. I am guessing there was damage done to my car and it's taking them time to repair it. Which if that is the case, I am canceling my order and either ordering the 2013 or maybe get an Audi. Maybe I won't have to wait for months for an Audi. I know I won't be as happy with the Audi, but then again at least I will be able to drive a new car as opposed to nothing ATM. I guess it can take longer than a week to move a boat load of cars out of a warehouse. I thought customer ordered cars were priority one. Looks like my dealership didn't care to do that since they got a bunch of 328's delivered but not my car.

Ok, enough of my dumb rant. I am starting to feel like an ass for venting so much. Back to twiddling my thumbs some more.

I am sure mine will be here someday. At least I hope before the people who's cars just got on a boat. It would be funny if the AV made another round trip before I saw my car. Well, it's only been a week since the boat got unloaded so who knows. Maybe I might even get the call tonight.

Ok. Soooooo..... Just got a call from my CA and he goes, "do you want to hear the good news first or the good news?" So I go, "How about the good news first."
My car just arrived about 20 mins ago. I would pick it up tonight but it's kinda late so I am picking it up tomorrow. I will def post pics. Thanks for the moral support sudi and live4thewknd! It's been an honor waiting with you gentlemen.

Did a fair bit of driving last night and today. All errands. I'm getting the hang of the technology. And when the chance arises my right foot gets a little heavy or I take some corners a little more aggressively. Got the opportunity to drive a short twisty road today. The car tracks effortlessly. I am a little bummed on a self inflicted wound. I was cleaning my windshield this morning and I put a little too much weight on my left hand resting on the hood. I pushed in the metal. I didn't realize it at the time but I put a small dimple into the hood. Damn. I'm sure it can be pulled out but I'm thinking of leaving it there as a reminder. I know that sooner or later the car will start getting battle scars from parking lots. Life in overcrowded LA.

Still haven't had much time to take some pictures. I'll try to get something up soon, probably in a new thread.

I wondered if they would go via K-line but their schedules don't show anything going through panama canal to get to the west coast. I hope you are right though
