Wink How to replace rear speakers in a 6

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a 04 645 coupe and could not get an answer on how to replace the speakers. So Ive just recieved my BSW speakers. So I began bye pulling the windshield speaker the rear deck and the doors I had to stumble and figure out how to pull the panels off the rear speaker next to the rear seats. You will not need to remove the seats and the screens covering both speakers WILL NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED. Begin with removing the wood trim and the screw thats behind it. Now the panel where the seat belt is can be popped off, and just let it slide down to the floor, out of the way. Now do the same for the speaker panel, except your not going to pull the entire panel off, just enough to get your arm behind the panel to replace the speakers. You should have a snub phillips screw driver to remove the mid range. The tweeter will be removed bye unscrewing the plastic piece in the back of the panel, that is screwed to the front part of the speaker that is on the front side of the panel that you see while sitting in the seat ( this pinches the panel keeping it in place). once you unscrew the tweeters it'll just fall off. now after removing the tweeter you will pop off the black cover thats covering the back of the tweeter ( this will not be reused ). Then push the small clips back to release the tweeter. with a small screw driver you can just pull it out. If your using BSW speaker Youll know bye now, all your going to do is pop them in, connect and start replacing everything. I didnt go into details of removing the midrange cause once the panel is pulled off you will see the mid and know to use you short phillips screw driver, remove and replace. Not all that complicated yet could not find anywhere how to get this simple job done. The BSW speakers are OUT STANDING.....Everything is "plug and play". Hope this can help the next person trying to replace the speakers
