Just picked up my F30 335i yesterday and drove it in to work today. No steering wheel vibrations other than the ones intended by the Lane Departure Warning. I guess I got lucky. I absolutely love my new ride!

Mine hardly vibrates when you take your hands off the wheel. When I say hardly I mean BARELY. Do I just have less of the issues or what? Is there any reason to be concerned?

The steering wheel on our new X1 with 1000km on the clock vibrates. It's slight, rather like a small current being passed to the wrists and is noticeable in the city but truly uncomfortable on longer trips.
I think our issue is different: it's present at any speed and only when the car is in gear, there is no detectable vibration when the car is stationary/ moving in neutral (even at 100km+ in neutral) I believe motor vibration is being transmitted to our wrists. That said, the car is not very stable above 90km and rocks and bounces along the motorway making pretty everyone car sick after a few hours. It's going back on Monday so let's see what they say but I drive a lot of rentals for work and the one we bought (for the brand and its looks) is by far the worst I have ever driven.
