What DCT shift mode setting is your choice for everyday driving?

Mine is 4 bars....Was curious as to what settings other DCT users are choosing....

S4 is mine but I find myself using M button more which is at S5

3 bars. Lots of short trip, city style driving.

M all the way.

what do you mean you prefer M? what is your M setting?

I always drive with the suspension at max and traction/yaw control a minimum I feel safe for conditions. This means more often than not 'M' button on for advance sport suspension, D5 tranny. Occasionally if conditions warrant (meaning surface conditions and temperature and no traffic) I turn the stability control off and tranny to S6 so I can have fun on rotaries, blip the throttle on downshifts, etc. Unfortunately I can only do this about 1-2% of the time (excluding track time) but it's fun and safe when I can.

I have the default set at D2 and the M Drive button set at D5 (along with throttle set at sport plus, EDC at sport, and steering on sport). I wish there were more than one M Drive button. I see BMW figured out that would be useful by putting two M Drive buttons on the M6.

Say Highyo that is some gloss you have on your black m3. What do you use to get that deep gloss?

i didn't use anything, but i know that the PCD guys do wax the cars before setting them lose. this was after a hand wash by my apt post my trip north from SC. maybe the camera caught the sun really well. looks clean right? that color is fantastic.
