license plate frame

i just posted on the 6 series forum but since im a M and i might be different i better post here also,,,,, so Oregon law is pretty harsh about the front plate apparently.. Theres two little holes in the front bumper but they are way to wide for a regular plate to fit... is there a bracket or something somewhere online i can get????

I suspect you have an answer to this by now but just in case. There is a detachable front mounting bracket for the M6 to afix a front license plate. I bought my M6 from a dealer in Illinois (but live in Maryland) and they included the front mounting bracket with the car. You can probably find one on line or through a BMW dealership. However, the car looks much cooler without the front plate (I carry my front plate around in my trunk!).

When I bought my ///M6 they had the front license plate frame in the trunk underneath the trunk liner where your battery is. Check there and see if you have it first.

I carry my front license plate around in the trunk as well just in case lol
