has anyone received a gift from BMW

i received this artist rendition of the 7 series. do they send this to all 7 series owners after first year of ownership for those who purchased the car new?

I also received the 7er artist rendition. Very interesting BMW sent concept drawing as a token thank you.
Drawing is of conceptual F series 7er as a sleek, extra-long body with 26" wheels. I like it.
I also have prior 6er series promotional catalog, hard cover, non-bound with insertions, a loose collection of conception drawings and photos.

i got promotional catalogs in the past, but those were junk for me to the paper recycling. at least the drawing can be posted in a nice frame, it looks nice.

They send it to the owner, 1st , 2nd whatever, as long as your info is current at the BMW dealer as the owner of the car...

i just received a thumb drive shaped like the key fob - supposedly it connects you to "a host of exclusive privileges from Ultimate Service" but all it did for me was connect me to my account in the website

I received a drawing of a 3 when I had that and also got a really nice pen after a year. Nice of BMW to send that to me.

I really wish they would give me connectdrive - my 7 was built a few months before that feature was added. argh

I just received yet another gift from BMW vis-a-vis my local stealer: a $54 bill to have the freaking tires rotated. I was having my oil changed so I told them to do the tires as well- I was shocked at the bill especially since my local tire & wheel store does it for free because I buy tires for my wife's car and my truck from them. Damn stealers...

I also received the drawing, looks great. I have it framed in my office.

I just received the key fob shaped thumb drive. Looks nice, but sorta useless.
Last year I received a drawing for our X5. Honestly have no idea what I did with it.
Never got a pen... that would actually be useful.

Considering how much of my hard earned cash has been spent on BMWs over the last 15 years, they should send me complimetary Z4.

I received nothing after spending USD260k with the BMW dealership here. Damn!!
Can you'll please photos of the drawing, I will like to bring this up to my dealership.

me too!!!! $200+++K for mine and i received nothing, i even had to ask for a coke when i paid for the car on delivery day.

i did force my salesman to give me a "7" keyring worth $30

what do you expect, you live in the philippines, they try to take advantage of you there. if you drive a BMW in the philippines, you should just open your own dealership.

Not sure if true, but I've heard that these gifts are given after one year of ownership to those who have purchased a car, financed or in cash, but not leased. I've heard of special brochures, artistic rednerings of the vehilce purchased, engraved pens, etc., all very nice, but a photo of your actual car rolling off the assembly line would be most sublime!

Based on my experience, not true.
I purchased my last 7-series and did not receive a gift.
X5 is leased and did receive Artist Drawing.

That would be awesome! I leased my car and I received the drawing. I also have the brochure for the 7 when it came it. It's hardcover and it's over 100 pages.

I recently received a key-fob shaped thumb-drive. In previous years I've received a very nice writing instrument and a print of an artist's rendition of my `08 M6 convertible.

I got this USB in the shape of a key FOB. It's kinda cool. Made of metal, not plastic. Is this the same USB key fob some of you guys got??

I give my SA tasty sandwiches and craft beer from time to time so I usually get free loaners

Since I didn't buy my car there and it's out of warranty I'll take what I can get

Just received an all metal USB drive, that is shaped like the BMW "smarkt key". It is actually pretty cool.....way better than a drawing or a pen (both useless IMO). I like this USB drive!
