I searched around for emergency brake and parking break but came up with very little. A few days ago the parking brake cable finally snapped as it has bound up a few times before. The light still goes on and the sensor on the brake lever still works but there is no tension on the lever itself and the rear brakes do not engage. i have a 110,000 miles. Any advice on where to start, i'm hopping it is somewhere under the car I can see and reach but wanted to get your advice before getting it up in the air.
Thanks, Kameran

On some cars, a cable replacement really isn’t that difficult. Lots of clear area to work with, not too much in the way. But looking at even the first part of the procedure here…not all that much fun / and that's just to start
