Side view camera issue.

Hi all,
When I turn side view camera on it displays images for a second and then goes black. I only see a small car on the display. I tried adjusting brightness and contrast. I also made sure my speed is less than 9mph. What am I doing wrong?

We it started working magically. Only thing different I tried was trying during motion. First I was trying at rest.

My right side camera always has issue, sometime it will work, sometime it will turn all blue. Ohh well, since I don't really use it, I will just wait till the next oil change to have them check on.

May be sometimes it is just too bright. For all other cams, the don't face the sun. Side cam can be directly facing the sun sometimes. You are in Vegas and I am in Arizona. We are facing brutal sunny conditions.

I already have my left side camera replaced. But now it's even worse, it will either work, or both cameras will go complete blank.

I took it to the dealer but can't duplicate it there.

Must be a connection.
My right side camera occasionally stops working, but if I get out and give it a firm tap it works again.

Individual-- Mine does the same. Out of the maybe 20 times I've used it in the past few years, only twice has it not worked. I'd imagine its a faulty connection as you mentioned before. If I ever catch it at the dealership I'll let you know what they say.

Cool thanks man! Mine just works about 70% of time now. I will probably bring it up to the dealer next time too. But I won't just go there for this anymore, not worth the time.
