Group Coding Meet

If anyone in the CT, RI, MA, NY area would like to get together, and do a group coding session - let me know. I have the cable, software, and time - I've done a number of the mods and can help anyone if they are having troubles, or are a first timer - or just don't want to build the cable etc...

Thinking later this month or even sometime in July.
Shoot me some dates and location ideas.



Also, trying to figure out a way to remote connect to another's PC to help them through the process - but every option is either extremely slow/choppy/disconnects. (will put this on hold for now)

If I lived in the area, I'd be in.

Hey all- as I have successfully coded my 2013 F25 X3, I am hosting a group coding on July 14th in Connecticut for F25, F10/11, and can help the F30 chassis people as well. I would like to start at 10:30am, and will be available until about 1:30, depending on attendance.

I will be holding this at 1899 Silas Deane Highway, in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. It's actual the "KOHL's" parking lot but it shares a very large empty lot with a since out of business mega store. Google satellite the address!

Quick meeting (no coding, just demonstration ), like a MEET&GREET tomorrow 6/24 at Rocky Hill Starbucks @ 9:00am until 10:00am. 412 Cromwell Avenue Rocky Hill, CT 06067 (860) 257-3200. If you plan on attending, please RSVP here or via PM. I will have my laptop and the cable with me, but that is just for show, we will not have enough time to do any major coding.

How did your MEET AND GREET go?

Good. I was in a rush. He actually did the same things I had done mostly- we are both hesitant to code the KOMBI box.

Also did you try to test Copy_CAF_ V2 utility? That works on Windows and could be very useful to coders. That creates a folder on C: drive named My_CAF_Files and saves CAF files per date and time in separate folders.

I have not yet - haven't had lots of time to play around really - work has me swamped right now.

I am ready with ENET cables for coding F series. PM me in case you want to have for your meet.

JA, try the utility I added to above post. Shawn has already tried and he likes it. This would be very useful to all those who come for the meet as they should develop good habit of taking backups.

Due to the turnout exceeding expectations, I am going to start at 10am, and will run the session roughly until 2:00 or 230 - weather permitting.
