2001 325xi code p0455

got code troubleshooting. a lot of choices to start with ie changing gas cap, etc. hoping not large leak. looking for suggestions. did loose a/c if that gives a clue. first bmw, so far so good. just changed gas filter and made huge difference on fuel consumption. but, also have made 1 mistake and had to drive to Virginia to fix to make sure she could drive back from college safe. looking for suggestions for a do it yourself dad (retired mechanic)

Welcome to Bimmerfest!

Tech related questions will be best awnsered in the appropriate model sub catagory. The most common cause of the P0455 code though is a faulty gas cap. Try replacing it and see if that helps.
