Went through same search and struggle. The answer is that you can put any non run flat on and the result will be shock and awe. Crazy difference. Problem is you need to keep a cheapo slime kit or inflation kit in the trunk. They are $25 and any auto store sells them. BTW, the monitors work the same so no issue with TPMS

I just had 1 flat tires on my ROF too, cost 534 just for 1 tire! Next time I would def. change to non run flat since I really hate the stiff ride, and I will not pay 2200+ for a set of tires that I don't even like.
But I do need to find a slim spare for it if I don't have ROF tires. Anyone know what kind of stock wheels will fit on our F01/F02?

I am at the cross roads of whether to go with the Pirelli RFTs that came with my car or switch to the non-RFTs. From the sounds of the comments going with the non-RFTs will give me a whole new experience. My wheels are the 21 inch rims (245/35/21 and 275/30/21) that came on the car from BMW. My only concern is the getting a flat and not having a spare.
Does anyone know of a 21 inch spare that would work on the 7 series? Or if the tire puncture inflation kit will work on the 21 inch wheels? Thanks for your feedback! |

As long it is for emergency, an 18in spare would be fine. I think. This is what I am planning to do. May be get one used 18in wheel tire set.

Geez, how and where can I get just one wheel with tire that fit my F02! I need to get one so I can say goodbye to my RFT!
