hello bimmer family

hi all
my name is murray i live in halifax nova scotia canada. i just got my first bmw and love it.
it is a 2000 z3 m roadster.i found this website looking for help with answers as to why my abs and traction lite's were
on. i am just in the prosess of taking it to the shop and hooking up to the test machine.
that should give me more answers. i pulled out all the wheel speed sensors,cleaned them up and reinstalled them,but that did not work. the sensors had a lot of crap on them i thought for sure that was the problem. i'm not sure if i have to reset something.
if anyone has any suggestions please i would like to hear.

Yo. My mom's from Halifax...and I have family in Kentville. Welcome. Are you talking about the light on the dash that looks like a circle of arrows? if so, that means your stability control is off. If pushing the button on your console to engage/disengage the "ASC" doesnt fix it, somethings wrong. I'm not knowledgeable about ABS, but maybe its disabled manually as well. Good luck.
