Why M5 stock not supercharged?
Just wondering what could be the possible reason of BMW not giving stock M5 a supercharger?

Doesn't need it. Why blow an engine that is perfection to begin with. Oh wait. Damn 2.8s....

It is the F10 M5 is a twin turbocharged V8 making 560 horsepower and 500 ft lbs of torque. What is wrong with that?

The turbo provides greater opportunity to post good fuel efficiency numbers.

Because it's not in line with BMW's current efforts. The engine is a complete revamp of the engine in the 550i. BMW seems to be committed to turbocharging, not SC
If they were to supercharge a V8, it would just add extra cost because it would only be used on one car and be bespoke, like the E60's V10. BMW doesn't seem to be doing that anymore.
