Vaders

Hey guys,

I may have a chance to pick up some very cheap Vaders soon and i was wondering if there are any known issues with them.

I realize they are just seats, but i mean the mechanics of them.

may sound dumb but they are interstate so i'm having to ask via email and trust the seller.

The driver side looks okish but the rest look mint.

he has them advertised for 500.

keep in mind i called a wreckers who had a set which was in " very rough" and may need to be recovered condition for 1500.

ill upload some pics when i get some

1500 for a wrecked set is disgusting...

You can get a mint condition for about $800-1000 from what I've seen locally...

A treatment with Leatherique and a re-dye and those would be fine.

Eh, don't expect to be put in a race seat. Vaders are nice but they're leather so you still slide around.

I'd like to get some bucket seats but it's not in my budget right now.

russian, wish you were close. I'd buy the tan seats. The driver's side one in my 318 is about done for. Shipping from Oz would probably cost more than the seats.
