electric window fault

If you have to continually press the window switch, let go, and press several times again to get the windows down, and then back up again, what is the part I need to put right. Z3 2.2 2001

If that doesn't quite explain your problem, go to the top of the page on the right and find the button called "search this forum." Click that and type "slow window" or something similar. You will find lots of ideas.

Hey, Most of the time when you start having these problems with the windows in BMW's it is the window regulator. I own an 04 Z4 and have had to replace both of mine. They started going down slow, then a loud squelling noise. I went to the Dealership and bought the regulator and installed it myself. Got to try to save a buck anyway you can these day's.
