A/C Charge?

Anyone ever have the A/C re-charged in their 2008? Even when the temp is set to 60 it's not blowing nearly as cold as the A/C in my E92 set at 67.... I'm hoping the X3 needs just a simple re-charge?

Hey thanks! This actually seems pretty easy to do! I'm going to give it a try tonight.

I f you want to REALLY fix it, you'll need to take it to an A/C shop, the system is sealed, if the freon is low, that means that there's a leak somewhere, and it needs to be professionally repaired.
You can try the autozone cans and is going to help for a while, (done it) but you'll be the same as before when the freon re-leaks.

Agreed 100%... but since this car is "new to us", i want to see if this cheap "fix" solves the problem... and if it does, then i'll ask my Indy to look for a leak....if not, i'll start saving my pennies.
